I’ve been trying all kinds of new things on this off season, and my goal is to share them with you bit by bit. One of my latest favorites is Nature Box. I kept seeing them advertised in my FB feed, and finally got sucked in enough to give them a shot. The way this works is they send boxes of healthy, minimally processed if at all, genuinely yummy goodies. I chose the Happy Snacker, so if it was something I really liked I had more than one bag. The first box is called a “discovery box” and you get whatever they send you, for example I received 2 bags of each in the pic below:
In case the pic is hard to read, the items I received this week were Southern BBQ Sunflower Seeds, Italian Bistro Pretzels, Sun Dried California Apricots, Lemon Pucker Pistashios, and Antioxidant Boost. Everything I’ve tried so far is unvelievably good. The best part is that after you receive the initial box you can actually choose what you’d like to receive and the list is something like 70 snacks long! I love the Roasted Kernels so they will be in my next order. Initally, I’d cancelled this b/c I didn’t want to add another monthly expense however when I started breaking down the per bag charge, it came to under $4/month per bag even for the highest cost per item level. Remember, free shipping so its just the charge and that it is it. I’ve sinced turned my service back on at the $19.95 level b/c anytime I buy nuts or dried fruit it gets expensive, so now I can actually save money. I can cancel at anytime and there’s no fee. You can also give gift boxes to people as well which is pretty nice for people looking to eat a little better after the holiday season. I’ve found these snacks are filling, unique (MY FAV PART), and healthy in moderation. I may stash them all over the office and car.
